Jackson State University Development Foundation (JSUDF) executed a term sheet with The P3 Group to structure a sale-leaseback of One University Place. This transaction will restructure the existing short term bank finance with low interest long-term financing using tax-exempt lease purchase agreement. The restructuring of the existing debt will result in significant savings for JSUDF.

The P3 Group, Inc. delivered $14M for Jefferson County in 84 days under a design, build, finance public private partnership for a new Health Unit, Coroner’s Office, and VA Center. The Certificate of Participation Lease Purchase transaction was rated A2 by Moody’s with an underlying issuer’s rating of A1.
Clarksdale Quality of Life Commission, the city of Clarksdale, MS urban renewal agency, sold $4,740,000 in tax-exempt Urban Renewal Revenue Bonds, to raise funds for the city’s Urban Renewal Project, to address street and road improvements in addition to flooding remediation. The P3 Group served as development consultant for the city of Clarksdale and was responsible for writing its urban renewal plan and oversaw the creation of its urban renewal agency.
The city prioritized five projects totaling $8.25 million. In addition to the bonds issued, the city received $3 million in funding from the Mississippi Department of Transportation and a $300,000 Community Development Block Grant, the city’s share totaled $4.91 million. The city also completed some of the work itself.

Boss Wings Enterprises, LLC led by Rapper Rick Ross, his sister Tawanda Roberts, and his mother Tommie Robert opened a new wing stop in Clarksdale, MS July 3, 2020. This venture was a public private partnership, structured by The P3 Group, with the city of Clarksdale, MS. Boss Wings completed a substantial renovation of the historic Greyhound Bus Station, which had fallen into disrepair over the years.
This Public Private Partnership (P3) and redevelopment involved approvals from a multitude of agencies including the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, the Federal Highway Administration, and the City of Clarksdale‘s board of mayor and commissioners. The P3 involves a 30 year lease and Rural Development Grant from the city of Clarksdale. Boss Wings made a substantial investment into the property which will insure that the city’s asset will be preserved and utilized for many years to come.
